Hearing Townes Van Zandt

Painfully Funny Cheerleading Blooper Reel

If you're not reading the new sports blog With Leather, well, you should really find the spare time to do so. Just one of their (actually, his) many discoveries is this "video of cheerleaders getting rocked" that's equal parts comedy and tragedy. OK, maybe it's more funny than sad, especially if none of these young lovelies were actually injured in the making of your laughter.

Full disclosure: The genius at work behind WL is one Matt Ufford, a founding writer at Kissing Suzy Kolber who also writes about his beloved Seahawks in FanHouse. Here's Ufford's FanHouse archive.

I quit hockey cheerleading right after one of the girls next to me in line got a puck to the face. She was 50/50 for Prom Queen before it happened, and she ended up marrying a landscaper instead.

i feel your pain!  back when i was a cheerleader in the sixties,we did not have such dangerous stuff to do.  trust me, it was a lot safer.  there is no way i would allow my granddaughter,or my daughter in the nineties,to be a cheerleader!!!!!!!!!!

haha...this is a great video Jamie. I can always count on your blog to dig deep into the depths of YouTube and revive the greatest of personal flicks. Good luck on the contest!
