Vote or Scar Me for Life
Someone messed up and nominated Mr. Irrelevant for the Weblogs Award of Best Sports Blog of 2006. Needless to say, I'm flattered. Also needless to say, mine isn't anywhere close to being the best on the ballot. Hell, mine may not even be the best in my own immediate family (see: Saved by the Blog).
Regardless, the polls are open and things are not looking good. Good ol' Mr. I-495 is currently coming in seventh (out of 10) and only three votes from the cellar. So here's the deal. Head over there, vote early and vote often (you're allowed one vote/day) because if I'm gonna be on the shortlist I do NOT want to finish last. That's just embarrassing.
Also, don't miss Kissing Suzy Kolber as they handicap the voting, even going so far as to call me "a true mensch," which is an all-time first. Again, I'm flattered and undeserving, but I'll take it.
Also 2, if FanHouse doesn't take this home next year I'm gonna cry myself to sleep at night on my huge pilla.
