Erin Andrews Is Having a Year of Hotness

In many ways, the events of these past 12 months have made for the year of ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews. Let's sift through them chronologically ...

3/29/06: Some kid from Iowa gropes her.
7/6/06: She's featured in The Big Picture's Would You Do ... series.
9/28/06: Kirk Herbstreit refers to her as "Poopsie."
12/26/06: Wizard of Odds fixates on her assets.
12/26/06: She says married athletes ask her out.
1/10/07: Signal to Noise calls for more Andrews airtime.
1/22/07: FanHouse uncovers her YouTube tribute video.

That last one in particular is a terrific find, however restraining order-worthy it may be. And, while the 28 year-old Andrews holds her own on the microphone-- just look at her with H.W.! -- it brings up the essential question: Is she the hottest female sportscaster going?

According to The Big Picture's latest installment of Would You Do ..., the only proper competition consists of Suzy Kolber, Rachel Nichols, Pam Oliver and Bonnie Berstein. So I'm thinking Andrews takes the cake, especially considering that she was a member of Florida's dancing Dazzlers earlier this decade, which has to count for something.

Update: Insomniac's Lounge informs of one Ivon Gaete, who is Andrews' stiffest competition to date. Extremely stiff.

I went to High School with Erin. I have all the pics of her in the yearbook. Who wants me to scan them in so you can see?

    Year of the Bulls!

When I break into the sportscasting world, I will be her biggest challenger for hottest female sportscaster.

For the record, that Iowa picture was Photoshopped. That incident never happened. This rumor has been de-bunked a billion times but somehow keeps flying around the Internet.
