Hearing Clipse -- 'Keys Open Doors'

Sports Bloggers Live: 'Prevaying in Miami'

SBL is dead, long live SBL. And so it is with the show the crew and I kissed off a month ago as it's been revived for a trip down to south Florida for Super Bowl XLI. That's right, in six hours I'm flying out of Reagan National (current temp: 26 degrees) direct to Miami (tomorrow's high: 80). Joining me is AOL Sports' NFL lead and longtime SBL co-host Craig Thomas and two wild cards/birds; Carol and Robin of Fantoo. The four of us have a spot on Radio Row where we'll broadcast live daily Mon.-Fri. next week from 12-2 p.m. ET (and replaying on-demand).

This is the third Super Bowl for SBL, and each has been vastly different. For XXXIX we were still (un)known as Pigskin Bloggers Live. XL was a big production with a full(er) staff, but most of us did it from the comforts of our studio in Dulles, VA. And now XLI sees us flying into the heart of brightness without much of a gameplan to rub elbows with who knows who. (Maybe Mike & Mike's leftovers' leftovers?) Having never been to a Super Bowl, I have no idea what to expect.

As for what we do know, there's a ton of guests lined up just in case no one's willing to stop by our booth or let us into parties ...

Brandon Lang (handicapper), Matt Ballard (Bears poet), Sarah Spain (Bears beauty), Mike Florio (Pro Football Talk), Big Daddy Drew (Kissing Suzy Kolber), Bob Reno (Bad Jocks), Peter Schrager (Fox Sports), Dave Warner (Dave's Football Blog), Jared Fogel (Subway pitchman and Colts fan), A.J. Daulerio (Deadspin), Michael David Smith (FanHouse), Brian Powell (Awful Announcing), Stephanie Stradley (FanHouse) and MJD (FanHouse)

That's just a bang-up lineup right there. Pretty sure you're not going to find anything like it any place else, unless you score an invite to the top secret KSK Super Bowl party. But anyway, I've gotta pack. Return here for daily updates, head to SBL come Monday for the biggest boondoggle of an internet radio show you've ever heard and don't miss a thing in NFL FanHouse; I'll be fueling their fire with guerilla media all week long. Stay tuned.
