Nats Baseball Is Bad but Deserves Better Than This
Spring training is somehow upon us, so the folks at Big League Baseball Report radio are doing team-by-team previews with well-respected blogs such as A's Nation and Viva El Birdos. There must have been a clerical error down the line because they asked Mr. Irrelevant to handle the Nationals portion of the proceedings and he I truly lived up to his my name.
See, I haven't caught up on hardball just yet as I'm still recovering from the Super Bowl and catching up on college hoops. So if hearing a guy struggle through 30 minutes of questions about his hometown club is your kind of thing, click the link below. I may not know who's replacing Soriano in left or following Patterson in the rotation, but that doesn't stop me from acting like I do.
Towards the end of the program I do confess that there are far better folks to cover this type of holy ground, namely the dozen-plus Nats blogs that have sprung up over the past two years. Start with Capital Punishment and follow his blog roll from there.
Oh, and I did make a dismal season prediction for our Nats in '07: 65-97; less than 100 losses for Manager Acta and company! Yeah, it's going to get darker here in DC before the daylight.
