DC Sports Blogger Happy Hour III: Let's Get Pissed!

Carrying on the tradition of Washington-area sports bloggers attempting to socialize for once in their godforsaken lives (see: DCSBHH I, see also: DCSBHH II), Kissing Suzy Kolber studs Unsilent Majority and Big Daddy Drew Christmas Ape, DC Sports Bog, Information Leafblower and I are getting together Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Georgetown ...

Awesome flyer courtesy of Leafblower.

Come one, come all ... DC-area sports bloggers, blog commenters and blog lurkers alike, especially if you're a lady. Lord knows we need to tip the scales. Generally speaking though, the more the merrier, especially if you're looking to audition for Bog TV. We promise it'll be just as fun as when those "ethnically challenged nerds" got together up in New York last month.

Speaking of, the infamous class photo from the Brooklyn sports bloggers summit has finally gotten the rich photoshopping it deserves, courtesy of Marc Gallant aka MDG aka Needs More Meat ...

Fantastic. Dan Shanoff (glasses, smiling) and Peter Schrager (hoodie) were spared, but let's rank the other six bloggers-as-super heroes pictured here ...
1. Henry Abbott is the world's finest Aqua Man.
2. Wizznutzz as Spider Man is truly inspired.
3. Will Leitch's Flash costume is out of control.
4. A.J. Dualerio's Ghost Rider is all balls, no 'stache.
5. Matt Ufford's Batman costume should be Leather.
6. I'm more Clark Kent than Superman.

So meet us at Rhino Wednesday. I promise to NOT bring my camera this time, mostly because I lost it in Miami the night before the Super Bowl. Should be fun nonetheless, especially if Maryland beats FSU (tip's at 9!).

Update: The Bog posted about this, and some his commenters are being whining. Something about us scheduling this against a Hoyas game, a Caps game and Lent. To them I say, "We'll watch the games on TV while drinking beer and talking about sports, which makes for a perfectly good happy hour. Oh, and [forget] Lent."
