Caps Ready to Wear Red, White and Blue Once Again


Now this takes me back to sitting in the Caps Centre with my dad in the late '80s and learning how to yell at people from Pittsburgh, Philly and New York ...

"The Washington Capitals will unveil their new uniforms at a special Draft Day Party on Friday, June 22, held at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Va. ... The new uniforms will mark a return to a red, white and blue color scheme – the colors the Capitals wore from their first season in 1974-75 through 1994-95."

Now all we need is for the Wizards to follow suit and go back to being known as the Bullets. Regardless, I can't wait to see Ovie and company in the new unis.
