Spinal Tap Reunites for Live Earth

This has nothing to do with sports, and I don't care. It's a reunited Spinal Tap along with an absurd number of bassists -- including those from Metallica, Bloc Party, Beastie Boys and Foo Fighters -- performing 'Big Bottom' at Live Earth yesterday in London (video via You Ain't No Picasso). The Wizard of Odds also posted about their performance, noting that they saluted the crowd with, "Hello, Wimbledon!"

From what I saw of Live Earth last night while waiting for Mrs. Relevant to get ready for a Saturday night of clubbing (really), these were the acts that rocked: Wolfmother, Genesis, Kelly Clarkson, Crowded House and Bon Jovi. These were acts that did not: Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Beastie Boys and Shakira. And this was the act that was insufferable: Black Eyed Peas. Someone should have totally invited the Flaming Lips to this thing.
