Cold Pizza Is My New Favorite Show
According to a producer for ESPN 2's Cold Pizza -- "The morning show with everything." -- I'll be proudly representing the sports blogosphere at approximately 8:41 AM ET tomorrow. Apparently, they've figured out that nervous bloggers make for good television.
So set those TiVo's to "The Duece" for Tuesday morning's program (airs live from 8-10 AM), and be sure to pass the word along to anyone who may care about some guy who works in a cubicle getting a few minutes in the sun.
This is me two months ago preparing for a Today Show interview. No, that's not makeup. It's TV war paint. And yes, the interview ended up translating to roughly three seconds of glorious airtime; which I'm eternally grateful for, because, as my office neighbor Joe over at Magic Smoke once said, I'm a media whore.
As for our own show (Sports Bloggers Live), here's what's in store for tonight's program (airs live from 7-8 PM ET):
· NFL Week 5 recap with NFL.com's Pat Kirwan and Out of the Brew's David Nesbihal
· MLB Playoff update with Baseball Prospectus' Will Caroll and Baseball Musings' David Pinto
· NHL's opening week with Capitals owner Ted Leonsis
· NASCAR's Chase for the Cup with the Scottish Racer (a.k.a. Alistair Hume)
