GQ's 10 Most-Hated Athletes

It's funny that a magazine like GQ -- in a desperate attempt to cater to sports fans who don't enjoy high fashion and full-page ads for hair product, watches and expensive shoes -- has put together their list of the 10 most-hated athletes and it's pretty freaking terrible. Here we go, their list along with my commentary:

10. Lleyton Hewitt: Who?
9. A.J. Pierzynski: Fans like him, teammates love him and opponents, sure, they hate him.
8. Phil Mickelson: The "modern-day Arnie" can't be on this list.
7. Bonzi Wells: What the hell is GQ thinking?
6. Michael Iaconelli: I don't watch bass fishing, but I respect that GQ pretends to.
5. Kobe Bryant: Finally, a truly hated player.
4. Curt Schilling: Yeah, he's pretty hated too.
3. Kurt Busch: More hated than the 24 car? I don't know. NASCAR's not my bag.
2. Barry Bonds: Sure.
1. Terrell Owens: No argument here.

This was my list from last year.

Who'd be on your's?

    My top 10:

    10. Ricky Williams - Way too much trash talk
    9. Allen Iverson - Ballhog
    8. Kobe Bryant  - Bigger Ballhog
    7. Tom Brady - No one outside of New England likes the Patriots
    6. Steve Francis - Needs no explanation
    5. Curt Schilling - Scrub
    4. Bruce Bowen - Dirty defense
    3. Ron Artest - BIGGEST JERK EVER
    2. Terrell Owens - SHUT UP
    1. Barry Bonds - Hank Aaron did it without steroids

(If i could add a coach i would definitely put Isiah Thomas on here)

All I want to say is whoever made this list needs to be whipped. Kobe Bryant is the greatest player of all time. Just tell me who would hate this cultural and sports icon. Kobe is the greatest and if you hate him you could go to HELL!!!

My Most Hated Athletes isn't really an athlete too me!

Its The Lakers Coach Phil Jackson!

He is so wrong in many cases!

    Jimmy J Matta

PS Shaq would come in second

Terrell Owens is not the most hated player but is by far the number 1 most stupid person as far as his contract. If he sat down and did the math. If he had not acted like an ass at the Eagles, He would still have made less money over a long period of time giving his agent a lot of cash.
