Another Delicious Slice of Cold Pizza

It's been a busy two days and I apologize for the lack of posts, so here I am to break the silence by posting about myself being on Cold Pizza (a.k.a. "The Slice") this morning. This could've been my favorite appearance ever as the show was co-hosted by Michael Irvin, we got to make fun of the much-maligned Skip Bayless and I followed Ryan Newman (12 car!) on the program. Should have some video for you sometime soon...

In the meantime, check out the sites we were able to feature while "making TV magic" (SBL fave Murphy Jensen's words, not mine):

· Yay Sports One-on-One Challenge
· Mighty MJD's dunk contest analysis
· Hot Olympians
· Noob Sports' Bode Miller Experiment
· Blog Critics taking shots at Skip Bayless
· Diecast Dude on Daytona
· Ricky Bobby

Also, by the time I'd gotten back to my desk this morning I already had an email from the fine fellows at Noob Sports that's worth sharing (they also posted about the Cold Pizza "hotness" here):

"I got a call from my buddy in the Dominican Republic (he actually just proposed to his girlfriend there yesterday), and he's screaming "yo, I know it's only 730 in Colorado, but you were just [bleep]ing on cold pizza?  Holy [bleep]! holy [bleep]! holy [bleep]!".  He thinks I'm a celebrity now."

I love my job right now. Thank you, Cold Pizza, for helping a blogger out. And thank you, sports bloggers, for putting so much creative and entertaining content out there that you just can't find anywhere else.

Related: Cold Pizza appearances 12 and 3.

Someone must have been watching... my hit total is a lot higher today than usual.  Of course it helps people are getting psyched about Daytona this weekend.

And you followed Ryan Newman?  Talk about a set-up to succeed -- that man's personality couldn't fill a phonebooth.

Seriously, thanks for the plug.  Wish I would have known; I'd have set up the VCR!
