I would much rather take a chance in trading for a quality running back than to loose the opportunity to draft the most talented "pure quarterback" ever to enter the NFL draft. It is not David Carrs fault but the short time he has been in the NFL he has the equavilant of 30 years of getting banged up. He has been beaten to a pulp since the first snap he ever took as a TEXAN. He never has had an offensive line. Trade Carr while he has value. Draft Vince Young ( a perfect marriage of the TEXANS and the home town boy) and lastly trade for a running back. Then if you have any sense the TEXANS should use every draft pick and every trade in getting some protection for whomever is quarterback. All Texan fans should think "YOUNG" for the 2006 season. And the Texans need to fo ahead and hire us a coach. Jimmy Johnson doesn't look too shabby. [ LOL ]

And you trade David Carr to New Orleans for their first round draft pick. Money is back in line and you have 2 top draft picks and you can start all over again!!!!!

Titans will trade you Chris Brown (running back) and swap the #3 for the #1 and we guarantee we will take a running back. You will still have the shot at Vince Young.

Get plenty of practice with your blog now during the off season, because I predict 2006 ( I hope) will be the year of the TEXAN. You will have so many postings from our fan base you will hardly be able to keep track with. Reggie Bush/Vince Young are both winners. We will get at least one of 'em. Maybe with a little creative general managing we can get both of 'em. But given the choice there is no choice, Vince Young. With Vince you get a top quarterback and running back. With Reggie only a running back. Vince-from Houston, a longhorn- it just doesn't get any better. The only other thing I could wish for would be Mack Brown. But, that will never happen for UT has more money than the TEXANS. In closing I will say if we pass on Vince Young, that will be the biggest football mistake the city of Houston has ever seen since the firing of Bum Phillips or letting Bud Adams get out of town with his life. Vince Young is a no brainer, DON"T BLOW IT ! Don't even think about it. Carr has gotten beat up since the first game he donned a TEXAN uniform. He doesn't have that many productive years left. Get Young now. He "CAN" be the future of the franchise.......RuffNTuffBuff
