POMONA - A suspicious package of a suspicious white powder inside of a brown envelope in a post office has resulted in six people being sent to a hospital.
The incident was reported about 10:10 a.m. today at 580 W. Monterey Ave. inside of a post office, said Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Sam Padilla.
All six people are reported in "good condition," Padilla said.
Hazmat officials are at the scene and the package has been isolated in a loading dock, Padilla said.
No more evacuations are needed, he said.
