Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful for the glorious day that we had!  So sunny and nice and warm. The girls and I went to a used curriculum sale.  I found the Reading/Language Arts curriculum but it was for 1st grade not 2nd!  I was bummed.  Oh well.  We will find what we are looking for.  Then we drove north and found a different Wal-mart.  It was brand new and only a few miles farther away from our house.  I was impressed with how clean it was and well stocked.

The girls spent most of the day outside.  It was so nice out.  I sat on the porch for a few minutes and knitted.  I talked to my sister for a few minutes.  She was on her way to the beach for a long weekend.  It's her birthday Saturday.  I was wishing I was on my way to the beach.  I will say that it won't be warm at the beach in Oregon in April but still, it's the beach!

My thankfuls:

1.  I'm thankful for Billy's mom!  She is becoming a good friend.  We have a good time talking and worrying about how to best raise our kids.

2.  Thankful for this wonderful weather we have been having!

3.  For coffee!  I have been enjoying my cup every morning!

4.  For my chiropractor.  Things are getting better in my health life.  Much more energy to start with.

5.  For freedom.

I had a tough time thinking of five things right now.  Lou is one the other computer trying to find a vehicle.  He won't be getting a company truck.  I am pretty disappointed.  Thanks for praying.  Wish the outcome had been different.

I am going to have to find 8th grade material online for this coming school year. Barnes and Noble just dont have what I need anymore. Most of their books go up to 6th and sometimes 7th grade. I have some sites that have the Spectrum Curriculum available for ten dollars a subject. If your interested give me a holler. They have all the Math, Language Arts, Vocabulary, all that and more.

    All very nice thankfuls. :)

Some good thankfuls.  Hope we can soon add affordable, dependable, economical transportation for Lou to that list.  ;o)  --  Barbara

Sorry to hear about not getting a vehicle. It sounded like it should have been a sure thing. :(

Hope you have a good weekend!
