Did you feel it?

Suffice to say that I didn't sleep well last night.  The girls were awake at 2:30am having some sort of party upstairs.  I went up there to give them grief and then I couldn't get back to sleep.  Too hot, my knee hurt, my hip hurt.  Getting bones to readjust to new positions takes some toll.  THEN, I did get back to sleep and was quickly woken up with my bed shaking and the house rumbling.  An earthquake.  I haven't felt one since I lived in Oregon.  It was a 6.3 and we were 10 miles from the epicenter.  This one was about 180 miles away.  But you don't forget that feeling.

It's not something you expect when you live in Tennessee.

We had one here in Georgia a while back several years. Weirdest feeling I ever felt. Glad everyone was okay. :)

Yes, I did!  It shook me awake, too.  They said it registered 5.4 here.  You are a lot closer to the epicenter than we are.

Oh gosh, I hadn't heard about this!   So glad you were ok!  I slept through the last earth quake we had here in England.  Scary things actually.

We had it up here too and I must have slept through the whole thing.  Have a great weekend!

Heard about this on another blog. Experienced a 5.2 some 15 years ago, scary.
