My life as a transplanted Yankee

Just thought I'd whine about how busy we are.  You can ignore it if you wish!

Friday (yesterday)- Work at Billy's.  Bring Scout with us for Homeschooler's Pet Show.  Arrive at pet show at 2pm.  All goes well and Scout is a great little man.  He was very well behaved.  Very social.  Not aggressive with the other dogs.  Lovely.  Kids had great time.  Drop Billy off at his Granny's at 5:20 pm. Arrive at home at 5:40.  Open box from parents that arrived in the mail.  Contents: new clothes for the girls.  Yippee!  Scrub grime and dirt from kids and change their clothes.  Feed dogs.  Run back out the door for my honorary nephew's birthday party.  Eat great food.  Talk a lot.  Eat cake.  Head for home around 8:45pm. 

Saturday - similar to yesterday.  No pet show.  Work at Billy's.  Arrive home.  Change clothes if necessary.  Run back out the door for a home group cook out with our friends at church.

Sunday - Church.  Drive to Smyrna to in-law's.  Say goodbye to my sister in law and nephews as they are moving to Florida. 

Whew!  I need a week off!!!!!

  You know we moms never really get a day off. The only time I ever get off is when we go on vacation to Florida. NO cooking, no cleaning, nothing but warm sunshine and sandy beaches with lots of water flowing over my feet and legs...yes, that is my break. :) I hope you get one soon. Hugs, Kelly

  Phew....you do need a breather!! Look at it this way though Traci, you got to eat cake, and that's always a wonderful thing :) :)
