If you follow Gossip Girl, you know that Serena and B and all their cronies get into some of the hottest night spots and eat gourmet at some incredibly swanky restaurants. On the side, they go to a school (that doesn't really exist) and occasionally venture into Queens (although the show would never admit to it).
For those desperately wanting to follow in the very discriminating footsteps of a few hip teens, check out Gridskipper's 'Gossip Girl' Guide and find out where you need to go to sip a $14 martini with a seventeen-year-old.
Since the guide was compiled a few months ago, one venue, featured in the most recent episode, is notably absent from the map. Butter, the hot spot where Blair is snubbed twice, is located in Greenwich Village. Although the girls never eat there, the place does serve food. And, according to The New York Times, the food isn't bad just very expensive.
In another recent development, The Box, the location used as Chuck's burlesque club Victrola, has been receiving some rather damaging press of late. Let's all keep our fingers crossed in hopes that this does not endanger Chuck's chances of becoming a successful burlesque club owner!
