Subject: Do It: Welcome the Not-So-Idolized Home
Time: 9:40:00 AM EDT

Jason Castro will be returning to his hometown after his ticket to Idol-dom was revoked last night.  That's right, the twenty-year-old was deemed not good enough to be idolized by the American public.  Or those who had time to not only watch the show but text in their votes.

Anyhow, Jason Castro leaves without too much fanfare.  You may think all the stories and blog posts and images of him on the Web amount to a lot of fanfare but you'd be wrong.  We'll have forgotten his name by next week when his three Idol counterparts get to return to their hometowns and take part in parades and get keys to their cities.  Poor Jason will see none of that.

If you would prefer not to see Jason get such a poor reception, it's time for you to take matters into your own hands.  As you can see, the town of Rockwall, TX has nothing on its calendar this Saturday.  Why not get in touch with the Web Master and announce a parade in Jason's honor.  And to ensure it's not just you and J-Cas marching down a side street in Rockwall, why not get in touch with the Highland Park Marching Band in nearby Dallas to add a little spark to this parade?

If you'd like to take a more low-key route, you could just buy Jason a celebratory dinner.  Oar House seems to be a local favorite and I'm sure you'll both enjoy.
