Hearing MSNBC: Headliners & Legends (TV)
Rock the Vote will be bringing the party to DC next month to honor political icons such as Senators Barack Obama and John McCain and the funky band, Black Eyed Peas. The rumor is even they're tired of singing Let's Get it Started (or Let's Get Retarded as the original title reads). Anyway, tickets are on sale now by yours truly. I learned about the event via email when I was invited to volunteer for the host committee. I guess Rock the Vote found out about my awesomely bad work for the last Democratic National Committee event. Hey, a helping hand is a helping hand. I have until June to sell at least $1,000 worth of tickets. It may sound relatively easy to you but it's been rough. I have sold 0 tickets. Hey, we're not talking about Girl Scout cookies here. The cheapest ticket is $250. Selling this amount will earn me a ticket to the event as well as the after party in DC. I don't know where the after party will be but it's guaranteed to be a star-studded event. I know Bill will be there, anyway.
