Zeke has really thin fur - almost nonexistent in some places - and when
it gets extra cold outside (it was 15 degrees yesterday) I resort to
extreme measures:

Clearly he's not a fan.
I can't figure out why he doesn't like it, because even his little ears
feel cold to the touch in this weather. Maybe the Nordic look isn't
right for him. Perhaps he'd prefer to rock a vintage Cliff Huxtable
sweater?
I thought he was doing ok with it yesterday, but when I turned around
and saw him doing his attention seeking behavior x 1000, I decided to
take it off.
I finally caught Sum on film doing his version of the attention seeking
behavior (it's his new "stop-eating-your-dinner-and-worship-at-the-altar
-of-my-cuteness" move):

It's really pathetic and adorable at the same time. He knows it too. He'll
roll on his back and let his big jowls flap down so they look like slabs of raw liver
and just stare at us until we laugh at him and rub his belly.
I'm sure that Bess would learn how to do it too. Sigh.

if your dog nows that it is too cold out side just take him out side to do his thing then bring him back in side because there paws can t take the cold like we can it can burn there paws up because of the salt @ calcium that is in the rock salt for the street @ driveway

I'm so lucky to have happened upon your diaries. They make me smile every time. I'm so envious of your choice of careers. Me? I chose teaching middle school children. Dogs would be more fun! (Just kidding! I love my job and kids.)
