I visited the Frankenpuppies for the final time today...at 8 weeks
old, they're basically ready to go to their forever homes.
Unless something miraculous happens, Bess will not be coming
home with me. Hubby was unmoved. Let's pause for a moment,
heave a sigh, and admire her puppy perfection:

Let me tell you, that puppy KNOWS that she's meant to be with
me! She's in love with me! Every time I picked her up she'd
snuggle her little head right under my chin (which, oddly, is exactly
what her very cuddly father does too.)
Here's Baxter, feasting on my fingers:

They're very "puppy" now. They've gotten bigger, and sillier.
And even more adorable.
Sigh.
Three have already gone home, and I'm sure by next week, the
rest will be gone as well.

This one looks very bulldoggy to me:

I will get to see Bess one more time: I'm filming a local news piece
on Monday and we're going to use her in the segment, so
I'm going to pretend that she's mine for an hour.
Maybe I'll just take her home with me once we're done filming.
I neglected to include video in my last Frankenpuppy entry
(sorry my78novata!), so I'm making up for it with this
music-enhanced extravaganza:
