SHADES OF BLUE AND GREEN

A male peacock basks in the early afternoon sun at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs.  Although not native to the area, the exotic birds have adapted to the climate and roam the mountain zoo grounds year round.

Its hard not to be mesmerized by the rich iridescent colors of the male peacock's plumage.

    I've just spent a glorious 10-15 minutes looking back through your photo album.  Amazing!  

    (I really wanted to comment because I also spent what seemed like another 10-15 minutes getting registered with aol... I had to enter in that goofy code thing like 5 times before I got it right!)

    Anyway, your pics are beautiful.  Thanks for sharing.
