Cleveland Rox!

The Indians suffered a costly lost last night, getting shutout by the A's 2-0.

Cleveland only had only about four hits, which brings me to the point of this entry. If the Indians miss the playoffs, it'll be because of one thing: inconsistent hitting. Sunday, they pounded out 17 hits against the Twins. Monday, they were lucky to get a baserunner. These hitting slumps can't continue if they expect to beat out the Yankees. After the Oakland series, they have to play the Royals, Rays, and ChiSox. Even if they make the playoffs via Wild Card, They're not going to make it without hitting. I'm not saying they don't have the talent. I'm just saying they have to hit the baseball and hit it good every night. It only takes one game to miss the playoffs. One bad game and the season could be over. Let's see if the Tribe can bounce back tonight with Millwood on the mound.
