I know it has been a long 7 months since my last entry ,but truth of the matter is that I am addicted to MYSPACE and blog there but this is my home here on Jland because you guys came to read my blogs when I was just Kisha...Not this literary diva persona I have created for myself.
I have been busy with everything from my literary life to my personal life. On the literary side I have released 6 novels 3 of which are anthologies.
I am a book reviewer and a publisher since my publishing company DIVABOOKSINC has released 5 of my 6 titles. I also do literary consulting and host my own radio show on Thursday nights called THE WRITER'S LIFE CHATS. 
I was nominated back in September for BEST SELF PUBLISHED AUTHOR by the African American Literary Committee.
On a personal level, I am great the kids are fine and JaeLynn turned 1 in August and she is walking and talking and into everything...lol
I am just really blessed right now! I want to stop by and tell you that I haven't forgotten any of you and MISS YOU~

I know it was a long time since I posted an entry and believe me when I tell you that I have missed you all...

I have released my third novel
Dear Mommy-which is a tribute to my Mom and letters that I never got to give her along with inspirational scriptures.
My forth novel
IF IT AINT ONE THING...IT'S ANOTHER-which is an anthology of short stories about problems that plague society like homosexuality, HIV, domestic violence and many more.
My fifth novel
MENTAL SEDUCTION: EROTIC ESCAPADES-which is an erotica anthology of short stories that are sizzling!!! MUCHO CALIENTE!!
I am working on my sixth novel
ON DA CORNER to be released next month which are a compilation of urban street tales.

On the homefront the family is doing really well. JaeLynn is 7 months...OMG times does surely fly...I have pics and will post them soon.
I haven't read any journals lately...I used to be able to read them from work but the firewalls wont allow me anymore and when I get home I just have so much on my plate but please don't think I don't think about you or miss you...

I know I am probably some of yall reading this headline are thinking "Kisha has really lost her damn mind" but actually I HAVENT!!
I was speaking to a fellow author friend of mine and he put things into perspective. So much so that I was able to take a motto he lives by and bring it into my "square" life…lol.
See, I am an author and you all know my purpose of being here on AOL is to network and sell books and make some friends along the way. So far I have been successful in those categories but in each group – my game could have been stepped up just a lil bit more.
What do I mean well yes, I am here to network but each time I logged on did I really network or socialize? Friends- were this people really of sound mind before I accepted them? Maybe or maybe not I don't know but honestly it is such a pain to screen people here because I want to sell my books (BUSINESS NOT PERSONAL) and I can't do it this way screening every friend because even if they look like they wouldn't have anything in common with me doesn't mean that they still wouldn't purchase my book. Feel me?
See, in all actuality I am being judgmental right from the gate and just like I wouldn't like it done to me. Who am I to do it to someone else?
So which brings me back to the original statement- DON'T FEED ME CHICKEN WHEN YOU KNOW I WANT STEAK!!
So in order to keep it real, I have to really go there and I have to handle my business and lately I have been a lil lazy in the department of just accepting the OKEY DOKE from people online and offline when in all reality I know damn well I don't want no damn chicken!
If this went over your head…I don't know what to say…lol

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use a little more calm in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on the Dr. Phil Show, I have finally found inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, "the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started and never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning I finished off: a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how freaking good I feel.

I have been MIA for a lil while but nothing much is going on except that I have three...that's right 3 books coming out in the next 8 weeks and I have been majorly absorbed into that.
I returned back to work and it still sucks like it did when I left back in June but its a job and it is a blessing when some people cant even get a job well not that they cant but don't wanna get off their lazy asses and actually look for one instead of thinking the job fairy is going to come knocking at their door...lol...but that is a whole another blog entry...lol
I hadn't been reading anyone's blog's lately please forgive me but I did think of you often and if you were wondering about me you can always email me @ dotcomdiva831@aol.com
I am actually thinking about ending this blog since I have one Myspace that I update more frequently than this one, that is also where I spend a lot of my time as well-it is the perfect networking tool, it just isn't for trailer trash to hook up and pedophiles!
I hope that everybody's Christmas was nice. My holiday was indeed a blessed one but I didn't get my new Coach bag, but I did get these ever so cozy Ugg boots I saw a few weeks ago. Santa was very good to the Green family.
As this year comes to an end please reflect not on where you been but more so where you are going. Remember to take time to smell the roses and if you feel like someone is taking advantage of you, please cut them loose. Realize that all that glitters aint gold but more so everyone doesn't always have your best interest at heart. This is something that I battle with often since I tend to believe people when in all reality they are liars/frauds/cons...well you get my point.
I am also posting some pics from Christmas and hope everyone spends their New Year with someone and or people you truly wish to be in your life for 2007!

Subject: FINALLY A UPDATE

Wow, I have been meaning to blog but everytime I sat down to o it something else came up.
Well, first off I have been taking care of my daughter JaeLynn. what I thought to be just a lil runny nose was in fact bronchitis and an ear infection and she needed to get her Albuteral treatments via the nebulizer as confirmed by her doctor.
My daughter was sick and her doc was concerned they wanted to admit her into the hospital... There is nothing worse than sick kids but when they are her age (4 months today) it is especially scary. She has been vomiting all day and has had diarrhea and I feel so helpless since I cant do anything but hold and console her as she coughs - and believe me she sounds horrible ask Nealinda and Kisha as they both can verify as they heard her this evening.
The timing couldn't of came at a more horrible time since today was my first day back at work after being out on a six month maternity leave. So she is to get these breathing treatments every four hours so Cyrus is gonna stay with her tomorrow.
So please keep me and my family especially Lil Baby J in your prayers.
Anyhow, today was my first day back and I came into a bunch of junk in my cubby of things that could have been handled prior to my return but they figured let Kisha do it.AAARRRGGGHHH
So they are just as lazy as they were six months ago, it kind of makes me wonder how they functioned...I then opened my email and mind you I set an away message that I was out why were there 279 emails there? WTF???
Reading is Fundamental!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I have been reading some good books over the last week and I need to type of the reviews-please authors be patient- a sista is a lil busy...lol...These are the books that all were PHENOMENAL READS!!!!

Lastweek was filled with so much drama for me but actually it didn't have to be but I allowed the DEVIL to come into my world and steal my joy, but I have since then reclaimed my throne and I am indeed TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!
As many of you might now and if you don't know...NOW YOU DO!!...lol...well anyway I am in the process of publishing my first anthology under my publishing company- DivaBooksInc.
My goal for this was to give new,unknowned authors an opportunity to see his or her own work in print and showcase some new talent, which I thought was a good idea, well the DEVIL had other plans because he sent everything my direction NEGATIVE, I am too to blame since i did allow but still the people I had initially contacted seemed like good choices but instead they weren't and had to give them their walking papers.
Someone told me that "Haters always gonna hate but Kisha don't worry because obviously you must be doing something right since that is usually when surface" and after thinking about it and letting it marinade she was right so I kicked those minor distractions to the curb!!!
I have been blessed to have made some awesome friends while along the way to taking LITERARY HOLLYWOOD by storm. So I say THANK YOU to wanting to be apart of my latest venture and SPECIAL thanks to Shaunte,Kisha,Quiana and Nealinda who have listened to me on the phone rant and rave within the last seven days.

I haven't been doing much of anything else just trying to keep my sanity...lol...I missed being online today since I was at work. I feel all out of the loop for real...lol...I didnt get to visit my favorite sites and etc.
Cyrus and I are hosting his job's Christmas party at our home this Friday since they all said they had such a great time last year when we hosted. I wonder did we just open up ourselves to be the host couple...lol...
Saturday my niece Taylor is having her Sweet 16 and I volunteered, well no I am lying my sister basically told me I had to come and be a chaperone...How exciting...lol
Sunday is my mother's two year death anniversary...
Well, JaeLynn is sleeping and I have to watch The Young & The Restless and The Bold & the Beautiful that I Tivo'd.
