Hurricane-Ready Ocean

Aqua Satellite Shows Hot Waters: This image taken by NASA's Aqua satellite portrays sea surface temperatures on August. 14. The yellow areas depict water that is 28 degrees Celsius (about 82 degrees Fahrenheit); orange and red areas are warmer than that.

Sea surface temps above 82 degrees Fahrenheit are one of the ingredients necessary for hurricanes to form. This NASA Earth Observatory article says that sea temperatures, while not as warm as predicted, "are nevertheless still above long-term average conditions, which will likely contribute to above-average hurricane activity from August-October."

So we could still get some big storms yet.

Last month we were told that the ocean water's on the east coast is 10 degree cooler then normal. Now this month they are saying the temp. is above normal. Who should we believe. It's been cooler on the inland on the east coast this year. Last year we were to get 2 major winter storm's.What did we get about 3 inches each of the 3 month. I seen a show that a computer predict the golbel warming for the next 30 to 50 years from now. And 2 Scientist said don't beleave what the computer tell you. Who should we believe? How many people believe that Iraq had mass of chemical bomb's? And what did we find? nothing All what the Gov't wanted was power. I didn't believe what was said on the TV. So who should we beleive?

All these scientist raising the red flag after all these years! It didn't just start in the last 100 years and if your telling people this your liars. Nature produces enough of it's own gases to be causing a speed up if there is indeed a speed up.
Gee those volcano's don't get any blame or natural fires or natural deteration.
Alarmest. Wacko's. Hey the Sun will eventually pull the earth to it destroying the earth. Why not raise these old fears. What a unreal load of crap. The more I read and listen to you guys the more I realize there is not a thing you can do about it even if it's true. Do you think getting countries around the world to lessen the use of fossil fuels wioll prevent or restore the damage? Prove it. You can't. You cannot because nature will do what it will do and man can not control it. So knock off the bull and find a way to lower Gas prices. You'd be doing man kind a hell of a lot more good then being wacko alarmist of something you could never fix.

AT WHAT POINT WILL THEWORLD TURN ON IT`S AXIS AS THE ICE MELTS THE WIEGHT CHANGES AND WE TURN IF THE NORTH MELTS FASTER THAN THE SOUTH THE CG WILL CHANGE .IF THE OUTER PULL IS GREATER WE MAY LOSE OUR CENTER AND COOL DOWND TO ICE.
