Guides to Voting Green

Check Out These Environmental Scorecards: As Americans get ready to vote next week in the mid-term elections, I'm providing links to two congressional vote scorecards that will show you how your representatives in Congress voted on key environmental issues.

So if the environment and "green" issues matter a lot to you, check these out. Whatever your views or party affiliation, please vote on Nov. 7. Remember -- if you don't turn on to politics, politics will turn on you.

League of Conservation Voters: The LCV scorecard for 2006 tracks seven Senate votes and 12 House votes and how reps from every state voted.

U.S. Public Interest Research Group: The US PIRG scorecard looks at more than 20 votes in the House and Senate, not only on environmental issues, but also on key education and consumer issues.

See for yourself how your reps voted. Then have your say Nov. 7.
