How to Recycle O.J.'s Book
Slate Columnist Says "Let It Rot": This was a welcome, humorous addition to my e-mail bin today, "O.J.'s Dirty Book," passed on by a friend. In the article, Slate columnist Constance Casey addresses the problem of what HarperCollins should do with the 400,000 copies of O.J. Simpson's book, 'If I Did It,' which they pulled before it went on sale, due to public outcry.
Her solution? Give one copy each to a serious composter in the United States and let them add it to their heaps of decomposing matter. One expert recommends using manure to help the paper break down better. I know what you're thinking but I won't print it here.
Composting can make stuff useful again, indeed.
Now if HarperCollins sent you a copy of this book, would you read it first or just compost it?

I AM SO GLAD FOR THE GOLDMAN FAMILY AND THE BROWN FAMILY THAT THEY PULLED THAT BOOK OFF THE SHELFS BEFORE IT WENT ON SALE. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT ANYWAY. I THINK THAT IT IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE THAT IT HAD GOTTEN THAT FAR, TO BEGIN WITH. AND ALSO, I MIGHT ADD, I CAN NOT COMPREHEND WHY O.J. HAS GOTTEN AWAY WITH THE CIVIL SUIT.

Does it really matter ... I mean, look how our nation has turned to murdering as a daily normal occurence the doesn't shock anyone like it should. Guns are an easy fetch for a few bucks. We have a national obsession to just kill for any reason or read about it. Guess we all can thank the national division that our politicians have created not to mention the muck mongers that call themselves the "News" media and just the plain stupity of Americans as a whole.

Let us not forget also that many caucasians gave their lives to free the negro during the civil war. God knows no color and one day rascist's and murderers to include OJ will not escape judgement day.
