Green New Year's Resolutions for 2007
Steps You Can Take to Help the Environment: Last year my wife and I did a few new things to reduce our environmental footprint. We bought a compost bin and started composting again; we blocked spots where cold air leaks into our house; and we purchased carbon offsets for our house, my car and airplane trips.
This year, I will try to drive less, telecommute more and walk the quarter-mile to the store more often. I don't buy much bottled water, but I'd like to keep reducing those purchases. We've discussed putting up a clothesline in the backyard and cutting out one use of the clothes dryer per week.

Some advice: Start small -- maybe just make one or two green changes in your life. You'll be more likely to meet your goals this way and realistically we can't all make all of these changes or do them all at once. But every little bit helps.

AND ONE MORE THING I FORGOT TO MENTION IN MY FIRST BLOG, GASOLINE COMPANIES SHOULD HAVE BEEN GONE LONG AGO AS WELL. WE SHOULD NOT EVEN BE DRIVING GASOLINE POWERED/FUELED AUTOMOBILES. ALL CARS SHOULD RUN 100% COMPLETELY FREE OF ANY POLLUTING ELEMENTS, ESPECIALLY ANY AMOUNT OF DANGEROUS, LETHAL AND CANCER CAUSING CARBON MONOXZIDE. WE NEED TO PUT GASOLINE COMPANIES OUT OF BUSINESS AND RUN OUR CARS 100% CLEAN. I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT HOW GREAT ELECTRIC CARS ARE. ELECTRIC CARS ARE NO BETTER THEN GASOLINE POWERED ONES, THE UTILITY COMPANIES ARE JUST TRYING TO BRAINWASH EVERYONE INTO THINKING THIS IS BEST WAY TO GO AND THEY GET THE PRESS, TV SHOWS AND ANYONE ELSE THEY CAN, TO HELP THEM PROMOTE/BRAINWASH THIS IDEA, SO THEY DON'T LOSE ALL THEIR PROFITS. DO LISTEN TO ANYONE IF THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT ELECTRIC CARS, THIS IS BAD, BAD, BAD, AND IS NOT THE ANSWER. WE SHOULD NOT BE BUYING CARS THAT GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE, OR STUPID DEVICES THAT YOU CAN ATTACH TO YOUR ENGINE THAT HELP YOU GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE, THIS IS COMPLETELY STUPID. WE SHOULD BE ELIMINATING ALL GASOLINE POWERED CARS, PERIOD!!!! DON'T BE FOOLED OR BRAINWASHED BY IDIOTS WITH IDIOTIC TALK ABOUT GETTING BETTER GAS MILEAGE. IT'S NON-SENSE.

IF PEOPLE REALLY WANT TO DO SOMETHING REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY BENEFICIAL FOR THE EARTH, MANKIND, HUMANITY AND ALL OF OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS, THE VERY BEST, BEST, BEST THING EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET CAN DO IS TO INSTALL SUN SOLAR PANELS ON THE TOPS OF THEIR HOMES, CARS, OUT DOOR LIGHTS, CITY STREET LIGHTS, ETC,.... THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO A GREEN, CLEAN AND SUPREME FUTURE FOR ALL OF US!!!. SOLAR POWER IS THE BEST THING WE CAN DO TO SAVE THIS WORLD, EVERYTHING SHOULD RUN ON IT, AND IT'S ABSOLUTELY FREE, FREE, FREE. WE ALL NEED TO PUT AN END TO ALL THESE GREEDY, CORRUPT, EVIL UTILITIY COMPANIES. IT SHOULD NOT COST PEOPLE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS A MONTH JUST TO LIVE IN SOME LIGHT AND HAVE REFRIGERATED FOOD, IT'S UTTERLY RIDICULOUS THAT WE STILL HAVE UTILITY COMPANIES IN THIS DAY & AGE. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN LONG GONE BY NOW. I GUESS EVERYONE ENJOYS WORKING THEIR BUTT'S OFF TO MAKE ALL THOSE UTILITY COMPANIES BILLIONS IN PROFITS EACH YEAR? IF YOUR ANSWER IS "YES", WELL THEN YOU ARE TRULY AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
