'An Inconvenient Truth' Wins Two Oscars

Gore and Team Take Best Documentary and Best Song: Sunday was a big night for environmentalists and former Vice President Al Gore. 'An Inconvenient Truth,' a film about Gore's efforts to investigate and publicize the realities of global warming, won two Oscars at the Academy Awards.

I say bravo to Gore and director Davis Guggenheim. I thought it was an excellent movie (read my review here) and I agree with Gore that climate change is a moral issue that people, governments and corporations around the globe need to address.

There is already hope that Gore's Oscars might spur some action on climate change, by getting more citizens involved -- possibly even enough to contact their legislators about the issue.

Even the Oscars went green this year, with carbon offsets replacing gift bags full of swag.

What do you think of Gore's win and his movie?
