Check Out 'Planet Earth' on Discovery Channel

Planet Earth New TV Mini-Series Is Excellent -- And Probably Awesome in HD:  A new nature series premieres on Discovery Channel this Sunday, March 25 at 8PM ET/PT. It's called 'Planet Earth' and it features some first-time-ever-caught-on-video moments and some great cinematography. The firsts include a snow leopard hunting; a vampire squid displaying its bioluminescent colors; and lions hunting an elephant at night.

On AOL, we have some video clips from the series.  Check out Extremes and Pole to Pole.  You can find our whole batch of clips from the series here.  There are 11 episodes that will air Sunday nights through April 22.

I've seen many of the shows and thought they were first-rate, with some great moments such as an avalanche in the Andes, and some funny footage, such as a bouncing bird in India and elephants blowing bubbles in the water.

Let me know if you liked the clips and/or the shows.

Wow! The best show on TV. The photography is awlsome. What a great learning series.  Every school in this country should be showing this to our children. We have enjoyed every show.  Thanks for a GREAT job.
