The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation
The official 9/11 Report is now being published as a graphic novel, written and illustrated by Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colón. It's not meant to be fun, or funny, or cool, or anything like that. It's an attempt to take a large, possibly difficult to understand document and make it accessible to as many people as possible.
Stand back, people, because I'm about to editorialize:
** This is an incredibly important book. It's part of every American's obligation to understand what happened on 9/11 why it happened, and how our systems and ways of thinking failed to prevent this attack. This book should be required reading in history classes while the ink still dries on the pages.**
Slate is excerpting the entire book online, one chapter per day, through September 7th. Read it for yourself, and tell me what you think.

That is truly fantastic, and I don't just say that because I am a comic collector. You should also check out the one done in Spiderman while J. Michael Straczynski was writing (The guy who wrote Babylon 5). Also a very important work.
