Spell-Check Outage, We'll Keep You Posted

It has come to my attention that the AOL Journals' Spell-Check function is broken. Some of you thought maybe it was you or your machines, but as near as we can tell right now, it's not. Don't worry about clearing your cache and restarting for the time being.

Many thanks to the concerned J-landers who e-mailed Joe and me to let us know.

The tech team is trying to locate the problem and fix it as I type this. We don't have any more news than that just yet, but as soon as we do, we'll pass the word on.

Thank you from the bottom of my laptop! I have e-mailed several people at AOL, and sought help from Technical they all gave me the info "editing personal dictionary" ( of course i had been doing that already) So they didn't know what I meant, or they thought I was doing something wrong.. So- Thank you very much.. I want to use that feature and so do a lot of my friends.. Will keep checking back.. THANKS again.. pikabo

AOL's spell checker LEARN feature doesn't work and so personal names I have added ALWAYS still come up.  I would like to edit the checker on my computer so it won't bring up the wrong words.  Anyone know how to edit the spell checker?

I didn't know it and was laughing abit about the alert.  Maybe it's a hint that I should start using it more.  Hardly ever do.  Hm.  You guys are terrific.  You'll get it handled soon I'm sure.
