Feeling Happy
Hearing TV - 'Survivor: Guatemala'
The season starts with Jeff giving an intro to the Mayan culture and territory.
Stunning architectural ruins! The tribes are already divided. They have some historic based tools to help them at their camps. Bobby Jon and Stephenie are their additional "tools." Stephenie is on Yaxha. Bobby Jon is a member of Nakum. Danni says he's easy on the eyes. <grin> Brandon calls him kind of dumb. @@ Jeff says they are indeed there to play the game and are a part of the teams. So it looks like they will have a second shot at the million. Yaxha is blue, Nakum yellow.
The first thing they have to do is hike an 11 mile marathon towards their camp following clues. Winning team gets the good camp. They are offered fruit and other goodies, but must decide what they can carry.
Survivors ready? GO!
Yaxha is really taking their time to load stuff. Yaxha is pronounced Yasha.
Compass to walk a straight line to old archeological road. Cool huge ants carrying leaf chunks! :-)
Gary already started taking up as the leader of his team and Rafe noticed. He says it's not good strategy. Stephenie and Gary have the compasses. A bit lost.
Dangerous jungle stuff they're fighting through. Blake got spiked badly by an evil vine/limb. Yaxha is trailing. They had to stop because it got dark and they didn't want to get lost.
Onto Nakum, Blake is sick. Margaret (nurse type) thinks his shoulder hurts so bad that it's causing a pain response in his stomach.
Ignore typoos and misspeelings - Blog 'n Watch are basically quick notes!
