Blog Readers Input: Thomas' Nakum Art & Your Thoughts?

Blog reader Thomas - thomasbb6art@sbcglobal.net - put the Nakum tribe on its Maya ruins. (I took the liberty of giving Jim his red X - sorry, Thomas!) He also asks a question.
What do you think is going on with the guys in this tribe? Why are they SO sick and the women aren't? I was thinking it may be a body fat issue -- the sicker men have little body fat and when dehydrated, the body will to turn to the fat to supply its needs. I could be off base, though. The men on Yaxha don't seem to be in as bad a shape. Why not?
I think that Blake's shoulder injury may really hurt his chances. The promo for next week shows he's still ill. Was that spikey twig/vine thing poisonous? Y'think?

maybe the women took better care of themselves on the hike. maybe they drank more water while the men were trying to be macho?

Thomas, I also wanna compliment you on your graphics work. Good job. I'm looking forward to future contributions.
Jackie, I just HAD TO come check out your Survivor blog. I can see it's alreay becoming the big hit your BB6 blog was. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
I think it's a good idea you had about red X-ing out Jim. The graphic serve as a good tote board/scoreboard. -
Thanks for the nice compliments on the art. I was thinking that maybe the guys were wanting to impress the viewers and tribe members by attempting to exert themselves too much. Perhaps that is why some of them got sick, and possibly some of the other tribe (Yaxha) did get sick, we just didn't get to see it? I was looking for some information on the Porcupine tree, I believe that is how it was identified on the show. I wasn't able to locate the information though. In summary: The males were given heavier objects to carry and this was new territory to them, new environment, and on national TV, so no one wanted to viewed as a slacker or wimp.
Stop by www.thomasbb6art.com new Survivor Wing just opened. -Thomas -
The title of next week's episode is "Man Down". It doesn't look good for Blake. I would imagine that if that is the show title, it must be a good part of the story for the week.
