Blogging 'Survivor: Guatemala'

Each season the CBS Official Website has what they call Insider video clips -- expanded clips of the Tribal Council and other bits not seen on television.  And, each season, one website at the Survivor Sucks forum transcribes those videos word for word.  The latest thread on the Episode 1 can be found at this link <--- Click it!  It's safe, I swear!  :-)  Once you get to the flame war which bursts out amongst their transcribers, you've read the important stuff.  <grin>

A few excerpts I found particularly interesting --

-- Not shown on the show, the entire Nakum team discussed voting Jim out before the TC.  Jim went to each one and told them they had to do what they had to do.

-- Bobby Jon thought Jim and Brandon were strongest men at Yaxha. 

-- Stephenie thinks that Amy and Lydia are weak, while Jamie might be lazy or something.  She's not sure on that.

-- Bobby Jon is angry at himself for getting ill.  He thinks he had a seizure due to dehydration.  He's mad that he let his weakness show on Day 2.  He thinks the girls, Jim and Brandon were really pulling their weight.  (Leaving out himself, Judd and Blake.)

-- Stephenie thinks even though her tribe lost the challenge for the camp they reacted much differently than Ulong did.  They gave it their all whereas she always thought Ulong felt "no big deal."

-- Judd dropped one of the water pots and broke it, then claimed the "bottom just fell out" and that it was cheaply made.

-- Blake came into the game with a bad shoulder - the same shoulder struck by the thorny tree limb.  He had already had surgery on it and was worried about it before re-injuring it.  He says the problem in the past is that it displaces (dislocates) out the back.  [Eep]

  Please keep us informed Jackie. We're not getting any tv except Hurricane Rita in Houston.
