The Show Must Go On...

Welcome to my 'Survivor: Palau' Finale Blog 'n Watch!  As always, these are notes jotted as I watch the show.  I don't spellchek before slapping the entry online.  The entry may be jammed full of my own personal opinions.  And, it's posted as the show airs or when it ends in the East Coast viewing area.  It WILL contain show night spoilers for those folks in other time zones.  You've been warned...

Recap starting, of course.  It's 8:04 right now and they're up to Willard going.  Now it's to the Stephenie and Bobby Jon firemaking.  La-la-la-la... wanting the recap to end and new STUFF to begin...!

8:10 PM... still recap.  La-la-la...

Finally...
Only four remain, Katie, Ian, Jenn and Tom.  One will be voted out, one will go on to become the Sole Survivor...

And then to commercials... of course! ;-)
8:15 and finally...

Koror Day 37
Katie wanted the news that Ian betrayed her out there.  Ian thinks his stock in the jury went down.  He says he knows Tom is the biggest target.

Something is happening.  Women are screaming.  Breakfast food for the Final Four.  Eggs and um... beer?  Pineapple.  Katie says, "We got to eat, but it's going to be someone's last night on Rat Island."

Ian says he has to beat Tom in the challenge.  If he doesn't, then all of a sudden Tom will be his best friend again.

To Jeff and Survivors at the Immunity Challenge
Chevy SSR - Winner of today's challenge doesn't win the car.  Winner of Survivor wins it.

All four attached to rope, tire crawl through, 3 sets of keys to tower, padlocks, trap door to third level, toss out rope, climb tree to final round, bag to combination lock bag, get another flag... first one to do that wins Immunity.

Katie struggling.  Jenn and Tom leading.  Tom in lead.  Tom has all keys.  Katie still last.  Tom 2nd level, followed closely by Ian, then Jenn.  Tom to 3rd level and grappling hook.  Tom assembling his ladder, then to top level and raises first flag.  Jenn having trouble with grappling hook.  Katie WAY behind.  Tom and Ian moving onto the final round.

Neck in neck.  Tom falling behind.  Both working on combinations.  Tom has lock undone!  Has flag.  Raises flag.
Tom WINS IMMUNITY!

they almost tried to make a deal. 7 hours.  ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
