Feeling Quiet
Hearing TV!

TV Tonight

Picture from Hometown

Okay, 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' is on.  Um... did I expect this show tonight?  Nuh-uh!  It was interesting to see Flock of Seagulls and Arrested Development once again.  Both the original songs they did brought back lots of memories.  I may have to get out what I have of both in my collection and take a trip down memory lane.  I'm surprised it's been since '92 that Arrested Development was such a hit.  Yikes.  I'm old.  I didn't like that CC woman the first time, don't care much for her now.  I can say the same for Tiffany - just not my cuppa tea.  Arrested Development is doing the Los Lonely Boys 'Heaven' next.  That I have to see... er, hear.  Ah, very unusual cover of it.  I like. WOOHOO!  The audience chose Arrested Development as the winner this week.  Excellent.

Ah, now 'Fire Me Please' is coming on.  This show was a hoot last week!  The premise sounded shaky, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance.  The contestants are in a 'Candid Camera' sort of situation with the goal being (betweeen two contestants) to be fired from a job the closest to 3 PM without going beyond that time.  They show two pairs of contestants per show.  The winner of each pair gets 25 grand.  Not a bad severance package, eh?  The contestants aren't riff raff.  Right now one's a teacher and he's working in a coffee shop - watch out for that DEVIL machine!  The store management that's on duty, employees and customers have no clue.  I hope this week is as good as last week!
