Cleaning Poem  
 
I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'putering',
And I had to answer "yes."

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into...
I was into it all night.<<Sigh>>

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.

Another Cleaning Poem

I don't wanna do the dishes
I don't wanna do the wash

I sprinkled clothes a week ago
And now my iron is lost!!

I don't wanna rattle pots
I don't wanna rattle pans

I see the mail light flashin'
I wanna chat with friends!!

Oh the tables need some dustin'
and the floor could sure be mopped

But I know if I get started
there'll be no place to stop

The closets are so full
things are falling off the shelves

I wish for cleaning fairies
and magic little elves

They could sprinkle fairy dust
and twitch their little nose

The windows wouldbe sparkling
I would have no dirty clothes

Oh I know that I'm just dreamin'
My head is in the sky

I must cook that meat that's greying
and bake that apple pie

I am runnin' round in circles
I am gettin' nothin' done,

I keep thinking of my web
I am missing all the fun!

Well I know I'm not addicted
though I hear that all the time

But I guess this stuff can wait on me
'CAUSE TODAY I'LL BE ONLINE!

Day Four of Vacation-San Diego Zoo


  
Three weeks ago yesterday we were at the San Diego Zoo... lol...
 
The weather was great! We were getting a bit tired as we were coming to the end of our vacation... Most of the week none of the attractions we visited were very crowded... however when we got to the zoo, we found all the people...
 
We went to the Sea Lion show...
 
They have huge bird aviaries.... and lots of reptiles... Since most zoos now adays, are about animal preservation and endangered animals, many of the exhibits are empty due to loaning out the animals for breeding or renovation of the exhibit to better the animal... So many of the animals you are expecting to see aren't always there...
 
Son3 planning our route...
  
Son3 was pretending to be a meerkat, watching for hubby to bring his lunch... mmmmmm... cheeseburgers...
  
Since the animals are shown in their natural habitats, the exhibits are as beautiful to view as the animals....
  
  
  
We weren't able to view the pandas, as the line to the pandas wrapped around the exhibit the entire day...
 
After the zoo we stopped for some taco bell to take back to the hotel to eat with our left over Red Lobster... the boys had one last swim in the pool... we watched Batman Returns and some documentary about futuristic weapons and then to sleep as the next day was time to go home....
