Hearing Quiet...
Finally.....
Finally here I am and I can't think of what to say, lol... It is raining today! Son2 is off with friends having a sleep over. Son3 is having droid battles with Star Wars characters on the game computer, hubby is at work and here I am having peace and quiet....
Between work and the boys, I have had hardly any time lately... And this getting dark at 5pm is not good, I am asleep for the night before nine... So it's been work, one hour of email/read journals, pick up son3, dinner, homework/dishes laundry, showers and zzzzzzzzzzzz...
Work has been making me very Bah Hum Bug... We just had another big VIP visit, so glad that is over, don't they know it is Christmas and we have work to do... I have finally got all the boxes open that we were behind in since September, however the stockroom is a mess and we have tons and tons of mismates since the team is still not exactly stepping up to the challenge of the new sales floor. We did however get the rest of the fixtures in for kids so that is a bit better. Supervisor comes back from maternity leave on Monday but just for three weeks and then she goes to her new position and the temp supervisor will become our supervisor unless she gives up in frustration by then due to we are so behind and the associates are just not acting in an urgent manner. Including the seasonal help who chit chat all day and not get much work done... We were not even ready for the visit and the visitors could tell all our rough spots... Everything! So I had a headache for most of last week but that is finally gone. Think I have had a bit of a sinus cold too...
Hubby and I have been Christmas shopping all week... Together, apart, online.... Hope we are just about done, except for stocking stuffers. Hubby has been the one busy getting all the decorations up in the house. He plans to have the tree done this weekend. I plan to have some presents wrapped this weekend and hopefully he brings my pictures from Kinkos today or tomorrow so I can finish up the Christmas cards...
Movies we've seen: Mr. Bean's Holiday; Mixed Nuts with Steve Martin and Madeline Kahn was a riot; Hot Rod... Movies to see: Seraphim Falls; The Siege; Jeff Dunham, he is hilarious and especially all his puppet characters; and Ocean's Thirteen. We've also started watching some Christmas too, like Polar Express, Christmas Vacation and the boys love Home Alone especially the second one...
I can't believe it is only three weeks til Christmas... ok I have just looked at the calendar and it is only two weeks to Christmas and a couple of days... I have not done anything christmasy yet except shop... Stupid work takes up all my time and energy, not to mention first grade homework... Thank goodness the boys will be out of school after next Friday, but then it will be only one week til christmas. We may have to make christmas cookies after christmas. Where has this year gone....
Son2 never goes anywhere and now that he is not home tonight, the phone keeps ringing for him and it's girls, lol... Will have to find out more about this when he gets home tomorrow...
Yay I am off tomorrow, but of course I save everything all week til my day off... I'm hoping to get the bathrooms cleaned, the house vacuumed and the island and dining room table all cleared off of everything that has accumulated the last couple of weeks...
Now I am just waiting for hubby to hurry and get home so we can have hot chocolate and watch Jeff Dunham!!

Sorry to hear you have crappy help at work...gee, i sure understand about that.....but thank goodness they have you because you are so good at what you do.
