Hearing quiet...

Son2's drum performance

Son2's first performance last night... He made a couple of mistakes but he kept going... He did a second performance that he did great on but the video is too big to load... I told him come January he can go to all the after school practices and son3 can go to after school day care more days... All of son2's friends were in the guitar performance but I told him the drums did a much better job and I hope he stays in drums and not try to get in guitar next year... The band did great too which I told son2 if he stays in drums then he could be in drumline or band even... Son3 behaved very well and even saw some friends he knew and hubby saw some friends he knew too, lol....

Happy Journaling...

i had a junior high boyfriend who was the main drummer there and at our high school...one day he stood up in front of the whole school and said "this is for Lisa" and the band and him played "Keep on Lovin' You" by REO Speedwagon. Needless to say, we were both pulled in the office but 25 yrs later i still smile. I have always loved the drums and watching dudes play it. Good for Son2, he did great!
    love,lisa

Drums do make the band it seems.  I hope he sticks with it too.  'On Ya' - ma

Aww.. how sweet he was nervous. Bravo he still did good and did the right thing keep going no one else knows if you did it wrong or not unless you make a big deal about it. I always told my daughter that when she'd be nervous about going on stage to dance. I told her nobody knows her routine, but her. Tell him to stay in the drumline they get all the girls. LOL then you can have another problem.
    Take care, Chrissie
