Footprints in the Sand

Mr. Raisin sitting upon his perch waiting for the birds to come to the feeders... Silly cat... He has been in a mood lately, excited about Santa coming or something, lol... He has been running all through the house like he is a kitten... He pounced upon Kirby the other day causing him to scatter the cat food everywhere and then almost knocked me down as he ran through the kitchen... Or maybe since I haven't put their flea collars back on in two weeks, he is feeling free, lol...

I came on to do an entry and of course got sidetracked with reading email and then caroling thru jland, it is amazing how many listed The Drummer Boy as their favorite carol and then reading comments, where I found that my journal had been listed by Guest Editor Guido in Magic Smoke.... He chose some wonderful journals of which most I read and I was very honored to be among them.... Thank You Guido!!

Here is what I received from the gift exchange at work... Isn't it too cute! It is a salt and pepper shaker and creamer and sugar bowl... I never made it to the party that started at ten, I think I was asleep by 9:50pm, lol... Two other people weren't able to go either but those that went had a nice time. They met at Denny's but did not get their food til 10:40pm... So it was a late night forsure...

Not too much on my to do list today... Amazing, lol... Son3 wants to make the above gingerbread cookies. And he has to make a card and wrap the present for a bday party he is going to tomorrow... Son2 and I plan to watch Ocean's Thirteen. I want to finish wrapping the presents that can go under the tree now. I'll get to all the Santa gifts next week, shhhhh..... A thank you note for my gift from work. And of course dishes and that big basket of laundry to wash that is over flowing...

On Wednesday my friend A surprised me and took me to lunch, we had teriyaki rice bowl, mmmmmm.... She used to work with me but left the company about four years ago to be with her daughter at home... Tonight is hubby's work party but he has to close the store and by time he get's off it will be half over so he isn't going... We are such party poopers, lol... Son2 was supposed to go to the movies with his friends today but he said he was too tired. Son3 has been yawning all day too. So they were really needing this Winter break from school... Son2 got his report in the mail today and he got 3 A's, 2 B's and 1 C...

Smallville was really good with some mid season twists and turns as was CSI... Supernatural was a Christmas one with a bit of a twist on Santa, a bit gruesome at times... And Ghost Whisperer did a Christmas one too that was good... Moonlight was really good with mid season twists and turns...

 

 

I am feeling better about work with the stockroom getting organized again, meanwhile the sales floor is being torn up by all those messy Christmas shoppers... Tomorrow I work 6am-2pm... I don't remember if we start opening tomorrow at 7am or Monday and close at 11pm til Christmas... We have an easy ad setup, it will take me longer to take down the old ad....I think I will have help though... Then I am going to open boxes and move more of the stockroom... We are getting closer to getting back on routine...

From the yard today.... It has been in the fifties in the day and thirties at night...

  what beautiful kitties! i sure do miss my cats. i recently moved to an apartment in another town and my daughter took hers with her. i had tried to adopt one from a shelter, and when my daughter moved in, her cats kinda ticked mine off. we had to replace my carpet when i moved because of the tinkle stains. *sigh* since there's no danger of her moving in here, i've seriously considering trying to get jazzy back. she adopted me! i

  Of course your journal got picked! It's wonderful. I can't believe how beautiful your roses still are........awesome!.
  I watched Oceans 13 the other night and was disappointed. Sorry, but I thought the others were so much better. Lets hope they end the series there. LOL

  I love Raisin don't know why he just seems to have the life you know. WOO HOO I'll have to look at Guido's list. I don't know him. Cute exchange gifts. I wanna see those cookies. I would love to get Kyan a kit like that never seen them around here. Moonlight was awesome and sad. Damn writers come back already!!
  That's it rub your beauty in I'm over here looking at sticks oh I mean trees. I can't even look at snow because we never get any. Can you guys tell Santa I want snow for Christmas....please I don't think I've been that bad this year.
