Hearing boys opening doors on advent calender...
***Five Days til Christmas***
I have just finished dinner of the rest of the rice and chicken, mmmmm... The boys have not been about dinner this week, just snacking since they are home and not working up much of an appetite... Son2 is off at a friend's house and son3 is of course protecting the universe on his Star Wars computer game... Before I forget again, I wanted to thank everyone who said how cute the caroling graphics were, I'm glad you liked them, I wasn't sure if I did, although they fit the theme....
I rarely do an entry in the morning, lol, however you may read the entry in the morning and the graphic is fitting for a Wednesday so we'll sneak it in.... I was hoping son1 would return the vacuum today but haven't heard from him except when he was out the other day Christmas shopping for hubby... So I have vacuumed the family room using the hand vac, quite noisy but it did the job, lol... And just so you know son1 does have a vacuum that's nice enough for their apartment but he says it takes eight times to vacuum where mine does the job in one vacuum, hmmmmm..... Hubby cut my hair on Monday so the hand vacuum came in quite handy then too....
I've been busy busy at work.... Yesterday I stocked the boy's clearance, woman's clearance and the athletic clearance. Finished moving all the women's athletic into the main stockroom and opened a bunch of new boxes... Today I squeezed out a bit more clearance, stocked the boy's slippers and spent most of the day with supervisor as we moved half the men's athletic into the main stockroom. And I condensed the woman's boots in the stockroom, they are going fast and I reorganized all the men's dress and casual shoes in the stockroom so we can put away some more before they hit the floor.... Tomorrow I plan to finish fixing the men's shoes, finish moving the men's athletic, knock out a bunch of shelves so we can receive the boxes in the main stockroom instead of the smaller stockroom that we are giving to the men's clothing department and open a bunch more boxes....
Sunday we watched Muppet Christmas Carol with our chicken dinner. Monday we had a lazy morning, hubby gave me a haircut, we had eggs and kelbosa and english muffins, put the Angel on the tree, we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, too cute, had Burger King for dinner and then went to see the Christmas lights... Yesterday after work I finally got all my alerts read, yay, my 200 and something is down to 11, I did some dishes, did some laundry, son2 and I finally saw Ocean's Thirteen, I was just as confused as with the first two, lol, and I wrapped all hubby's presents from Santa...
Now tonight the boys are sleeping in the family room, they haven't decided what they want to watch yet, while I'm in my room wrapping all their presents from Santa and watching Criminal Minds and CSI NY... But first I have to do the dishes, switch around some laundry, pay a bill and fill out one more Christmas card and get the boys settled...
(son1 just called.... he says he'll bring the vacuum back on Friday... He was cooking beans and rice since they are out of funds and food until payday...)
Happy Journaling...

I remember the days of roughing it when I was first married. There were many anniversaries that we ate PBJ sandwiches for dinner. Glad those days are over with. I am so tired, but yet here I am at 416am looking at your journal. I need to write an entry, but I'm exhausted it may get posted sometime later in the morning.
Take care, Chrissie -
Your son's apartment should really be clean for sure by Friday. Glad at least you had your hand vac, but what a slow way to go. It sounds like you are just about ready but the wrapping. I'm done, but the cleaning and cooking. 'On Ya' -ma

Thanksgiving alone so are excited that Christmas we'll be sharing it with our son, his wife and their little girl, who is not quite 2 yet. Glad you got through your alerts. I have had so many at times I've actually deleted them in order to start over. There was NO WAY I could get caught up. LOL
Well, I have to make myself some breakfast. I've been up awhile, and my stomach is reminding me that I only had coffee. MERRY CHRISTMAS
Hugs, love and always, my prayers.
