Hearing hubby blowing the leaves around with the blower...

***Only One Day til Christmas***

Can you smell the ham... It will be done in a half hour, mmmmm... But can't have any til tomorrow for Christmas Eve dinner...

Tonight we will be having the chicken family pak from the deli at the grocery store....

Work was quite easy today... Went in at 6am, no ad to set til tomorrow... I stocked the kids slippers, kids boots, kids clearance and women's boots... Then I moved all the receiving boxes from the old stockroom to the hallway and went to lunch. Came back and opened three boxes and went home at noon, lol... Since Christmas is almost done , we can't pad the hours anymore, must leave at the time the schedule says... So tomorrow I work still 7am-3, Christmas off of course, Wednesday 6am-1, Thursday 7am-2 and Friday and Saturday off...

Came home and hubby and the boys were out last minute shopping so I had the house to myself for about a half hour... So I put the ham in the oven....

I've been on the computer ever since, I must get busy, was talking to hubby alot of the time though...

He's outside blowing around leaves and then he is going to get the chicken... I think son1 just pulled up to borrow some tools to work on his friends car...

The other boys are playing their new computer games they got yesterday...

Nope the boys have emerged from the computer/art room cause they heard son1...

I need to make some brownies for Santa since the gingerbread cookies didn't come out too good and we still haven't decorated them yet...

We have Drowning Mona to watch tonight with dinner...

For the true meaning of Christmas visit Shelly at XX Roxy Mama XX... She has a beautiful Christmas to share this year...

I must go do the dishes and straighten up a bit before dinner and relaxing time...

Happy Journaling...

I was thinking how wonderful Shelly is doing this for this family and woke up this morning thinking about it too.  So glad you mentioned it in this entry.  I have always wanted to do something like that if the opportunity presents itself to us.  My husband might say otherwise though LOL.  Wishing you all a blessed and wonderful Christmas!!  I so enjoy each and every entry you write all year... your words are always such a comfort to me and I wish your family the very best.  Hope you have a great celebration and a Happy New Year in 2008!!!!

Sounds like your family celebration will be a nice one.  Can't wait to see pictures of Sons 2 & 3 tearing into their packages.  LOL

Have a grand time!  Merry Christmas.
