I looked up what this scripture was and it was the story of the blind man that Jesus healed and then the grief the Pharisees gave the man and his family for the man being healed; I remember thinking when I read this before that they were doing their best to disprove Jesus was God; imagine if they had actually stopped and examined what he was doing and start to believe he was the Messiah, but then they were too proud and arrogant to do so (the Pharisees I'm talking about)
