Hearing son3 writing his spelling words...
Middle of the week...
Only two more days and a day off, lol... What do I miss most from being on vacation: Sleeping and going outside... I'm tired and I need sun... While on vacation I could sleep in til seven or eight. Now I have to get up at 5:45am... And when I slept on vacation there was no stress so I slept... Now I wake up several times before it is actually time to get up. And now when I go outside it is to get in the car to go to work and come home from work and pick up the boys... and then just five or ten minutes while I water the plants and take a few quick shots... On vacation I wondered in and out all day...
I did get off early today so I was able to make some pasta for dinner with some meatballs... Last night we just had nachos which means son3 just had cheese, lol... and son2 had raviolis... Also last night I played Rollercoaster Tycoon for a bit and started Duma Key, however at the end of Blaze was the original short story of Memory that Duma Key was based on, so everything I'm reading I already read in the short story... Tonight Criminal Minds and CSI NY are new, yay, of course only if I'm able to stay awake...
And back to school means homework... Right now son3 is finishing up his spelling words three times each. We usually do between ninety minutes and two hours of homework a night... If he finishes in the next five minutes we will be in the ninety minute bracket tonight and of course that includes a potty break in between...
I was going to grumble about work but how about we look at pretty flowers instead and think nice thoughts....
I have been getting alot done at work this week and the great news is we are not moving the floor again, yay, we are keeping the flow the way it is... Seems like I had more to say, think it was the mostly grumbling about work... Look pretty flowers!!
Haven't heard from son1, still need to email him. Son2 is doing his homework and has a couple of chores to do... Son3 just has two more words and he is done, I have been bribing him with cookies if he continues working and doesn't keep stopping to sing a song and dance a dance... I hear him singing again... lol...
I have already done the dishes and a load of laundry, at least I am keeping up on those two things since being back at work... I really need to clean the bathrooms and wash floors, did not do those on vacation... but don't worry I still have four more weeks of vacation and four personal holidays to go this year... :)
Ok I think son3 is done, off to get him in the shower and play a bit of Rollercoaster tycoon 3 before hubby gets home...

My bathrooms are desperate for help. I don't think I'm keeping up with the housework too well these days. Love the pictures!!! Homework, yes I wish it would slow down a bit. So glad you have lots of good vacation time built up. Hugs,

I found when I had to work the early shift, I'd wake up several times during the night with worries. Now that I work on my own and I still have stresses I don't wake up nearly as often. I hope you get some time outside, be sure to stop and smell those beautiful roses!
