Thursday~Friday
Yay it's Friday!! And the boys have a three day weekend!! Hubby is off Sunday-Monday and I only work Sunday.... Hubby went grocery shopping today and got yummy stuff to fix for Monday... I'm thinking maybe go to a movie on Monday but not sure...
Well Thursday at work I got half the price changes done.... Finished the schedule, and got lots of boxes open, but still have to put all the shoes away now in the stockroom that I opened... Realized Thursday morning that son2 did not have any black jeans for his performance, his all had holes in the knees... So after work pick him up some jeans, also found him some dress shirts for $4.99, so got a green one and a brown one... Picked up son3 from school, picked up his cookie dough order... We now have lots of cookies to make, peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar, macadamia nuts and oatmeal raisin....
Got home, hubby had the day off so he had already gotten son2 in the shower... found out he had to be at the performance by 4:30pm... It was already 4pm when I got home.... We never did get an actual handout of any sort from the teacher of when son2 was supposed to be there... The school web site said the performance was from 5:30-8pm... So hubby got him there. I started an entry but hubby was home quick, so canceled it and we had dinner... I had made son2 eat something before he left... We finished watching Bones, caught up on the week, did homework with son3 although he forgot his homework folder at school so we did what we could and then it was time to pick up son2 already.... And discovered that I never thought about everyone actually eating the dinners that we could order since it kept advertising curb side pickup for your dinners... so son2 said from 5pm-6:30pm all the people were eating including the students... So I felt bad not ordering at least him a dinner, not that he didn't come home with one, as there were leftovers.... So the actual performance did not start til 6:45pm... Son3 would have never survived sitting there all that time, nor me for that matter.... But he did it and it's done and we are moving on... Cause he came home with a permission slip to go to the formal dance next Friday night.... Good thing I found those dress shirts... And he and hubby are going shopping for shoes on Sunday and he will have two places to wear them..... not just Graduation...
Also I got an email from son1 Thursday.... He said his job is gay and boring... He just sits at a computer all day... I said well you can still look for a job while the one you have pays your bills.... He also said if I needed an idea for his bday, he'll be 21 in July, that his friend is selling some tires that he wants... I told him I thought we were thinking of getting you a new TV or computer for your bday.... I'm thinking now just money and he can pick what he wants......
Today I posted the schedule at work and updated the white board of all the tasks to get ready for the VIP Visit... Then I set the Memorial Weekend ad and did a bit more markdowns... I think I just have to finish kids and that is all of them.... Then I opened boxes but not as much as yesterday... It was Friday and I just wanted the day to be over... And we were very busy....
Now I am home and have been on the computer ever since... The boys watched their after school shows and have now moved onto computer games... We have had junk for dinner and I feel yucky now... Need water!!
We have had to empty the pools... There was so much dirt and junk in them from all the wind we had, it was best to just start over... So that is a job for the weekend... And I had found a pool cover back at the beginning of the year for a 8ft pool, had never been able to find one before, however it is too small for our 8ft pool.... So all this time I could have bought a 10ft one... So still need to get a cover.... And something ate all the leaves off my new tiny cherry tomatoe plants.... Think I may just dump out the peas and cherry tomatoes and concentrate on my big tomatoe plants and pepper plant.... and keeping up with the pools will be a full time job in itself.....
Son2 goes to Great America tomorrow... So no sleeping in, have to be at school at 6:30am for the bus.... He has brought me his laundry, per my request, lol... However he needs to do all his chores tonight... Since he has been playing all week.... So me and son3 will have a nice quiet day tomorrow, no brotherly fighting... Although I'm sure son3 will bug me all day to fill the pools so he can swim... But we are forecast for a bit of sprinkles and cooler temps so we will see....
And I have a ton of my own chores to do and make potato salad for Monday and have a ton of journals to catch up on, almost 200 alerts.....
And it was very ironic... We have seen Drumline before but son2 was younger so since he was in Drumline I put it on Netflix, well it came yesterday, lol, on the day of his performance.... We also have Moondance Alexander and PS I Love You.... We watched CSI last night, I knew something was coming but not that!!! We still have 2 CSI Miami's and Criminal Minds and CSI NY....

I gave up on trying to figure out what to give my daughter for her birthday...I usually get a Mall card she can use in any of the stores, or whatever gift card her interest is at the moment. Takes the fun out of shopping for her, but honestly I would rather make sure she has something she genuinely wants and it's not a waste of my money. Here's to having a great holiday with the family! i hope you and Son3 enjoy your day today.....sounds like work is always busy.....i sure understand that. Rick loves "Drumline". I got an email from Netflix saying the movie we wanted was not in Ohio and they had to ship it from S. Carolina..it took a week! Crazy.
Will you all go see that new Raiders movie?
