Footprints in the Sand

So glad it is Friday! I am pooped....

I got the ad set this morning and all the new sign holders put up for the end caps... Changed out all the women's sale tables and that was it... Now I'm off tomorrow and then Sunday will be a huge ad but have lots of help and then have to change out all the men's and athletics sale tables and open boxes....

Hubby did finally get his broken tooth fixed but still has to go back again for another tooth... So took about six visits for him to get all caught up with his teeth... Sheesh... Now the boys will go once school is done...

I guess son3 had another frustration fit at school again... Got a call from the office but there was only a message to call them back... So talked to son3 and figured out that he missed fun Friday today cause he had to finish homework that was incomplete and he was not the only one... Now I'm not happy cause this homework that he did not do was never sent home, so don't appreciate him getting punished for the teacher's mistake... but then he is in trouble for getting mad and banging the desk and stomping his feet in frustration of the work that had to be done... but then back to me being mad that she just immediately sends him to the office and they call us... do you see a viscous cycle here that they are losing... why should he fear them when they are going to just put him on a time out and call us and then when we talk to them, they just say that it is zero tolerance and they have to call us but don't worry he is fine, but where is the punishment... so I have taken away the video games tonight but here is not where he is acting up so the punishment doesn't really affect him, they need to punish him... besides just taking away recess especially when half the time they forget... When son2 was in the lower grades there was more of a classroom card system and you would lose more privileges and they had incentive fieldtrips where if you had too many detentions then you lost the field trip... I will be so glad when we are done with this teacher...

Son2 had a great time at the dance... He said he danced, that everyone danced, not necessarily with anyone just all dancing... Although he did dance with some of his friends that are girls... Doesn't tell me if there is any particular girl, and I have asked... Now tomorrow he is going to a bday party... But first he will do chores!! I have a list!! Oh and they had lemonade and water and lots of bowls of candy... so at the end of the dance he filled his pockets and we have a big bowl of snickers and milky ways and twix... They are in the fridge as they melted a bit in his pockets on the way home... ewwwww... lol... it was also very hot at the dance...

Remember yesterday gas was $4.33, same gas station today, $4.39... by work it is $4.29...

Hubby is on his way home and I am ready for sleeping... and I have a big list of chores for me tomorrow too.... My house is a mess!!!

  I never got this alert!!! I'm glad you pointed it out to me; sounds like son2 did have a good time; I'm glad he and friends danced!!
  
  I agree with you; son3's teacher has some interesting ways on how she takes care of discipline; thankfully school is almost done

  Your son's teacher sounds like the one my youngest had this year, we are so happy to be done with her!!
