Footprints in the Sand

Supervisor and I were a bit sluggish today, of course she has been working ten hour days and I've been going non stop all week to get ready for the visit next week... Today I marked out a bunch of mismate shoes and organized the mismate wall, found a bunch of shoes that mated together and cleaned out a bunch of junk that had been dumped in the stockroom, put away a bunch of shoes and opened more boxes... Tomorrow I have an ad to set up and want to put up the new signing that came in and change out some of the sale tables and open boxes....

Picked up son3 from school and guess what was in his folder, the information for the performance on Tuesday, lol... Also his homework agenda for this week, however Tuesday and Wednesday were marked off but he did have spelling words for today, a math page and write a story... So we did homework once again... Wondering when the last day of homework will be... Next week is the last full week of school and then the last day is the 11th... He also forgot his jacket in first grade today and when we were at daycare there was a jacket that looked just like his but I did not see his name in it so came home and checked and sure enough no jacket, so that one is his too....

Son2 put his car together last night when hubby came home and guess what, it did not work, boy was son2 mad, lol.... so they figured they needed a bigger balloon, so hubby bought some of those punching balls today... son2 tried it and it still did not go far, so I suggested he take off the straw that he had the balloon attached to and it worked just fine, so he was happy.... he wanted to go to his friend's house today but I was like no, what chores have you done and you waited all week to do your project... but he got all his work done and it was still early enough that I finally let him go, besides it gives me and son3 some quiet time to do his homework.... He did buy his ticket today for the dance tomorrow night....

I've noticed that the St. John's Wort is not working at all... of course I am only taking one in the morning, but at least at first I would be quiet and calm til about noon, lol... I told supervisor today, did she notice that her and I have been talking all week, lol, and I was still taking it... so still waiting for my tranquil inner peace... not having it this week, as I am getting to the grumpy time of the month and hubby is breathing, lol... I was feeling a bit stressed this evening as I had plans and homework was not in them, but I still got some cards written out, a bill paid, the checkbook updated, the dishes done, actually son2 unloaded/loaded the dishwasher for me and I did three loads of laundry... Hubby will hopefully be home on time as I am waiting up for him as he had a dentist appointment today... It was part two of getting his broken tooth fixed and hopefully his last appointment for a while... Update him on the goings on's of the boys and then I will be going to sleep...

I got gas this morning and it was $4.33...........

  TJ would love you 4ever if he had all your mismatched shoes at work...he is OBSESSED with eating shoes. Dumb dog.

  WOW AND I THOUGHT 3.75 WAS BAD. I PAID 40.67 FOR 10 GALLONS OF GAS....I DON'T CARE WE ARE STILL GOING ON VACATION IN JUNE. DID SON3 GET HIS SURPRISE YET? I MAILED IT LAST WEEK....JUST WONDERING IF HE LIKED IT.  HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND XOXBARB

  well, at least you know that the end is in sight for the school year and come June 11th, there won't be any more homework (until fall, but we won't think that far ahead)

  Gosh I hear you about moods.  My poor husband came upstairs and went to make a suggestion as I was putting the kitchen back together, and I bent his ear for a good five minutes ending with "if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all!"  He didn't know what to say or not say at that point, LOL.  Moods!
