Progressive Musings

I've been trying to decide if they're serious about this Rapture Index.  Or is it just some kind of strange black humor.  After perusing the rest of the Rapture Ready site, I'm leaning towards the former.
They're taking 45 categories, assigning a numerical value to each and adding it all up in an effort to see how fast we're speeding toward the Rapture.  Be-zarre!  If you're interested, today's reading is 141 -- a far cry from the alltime high of 182 on Sept. 24, 2001.

A new site gives us a glimpse into other peoples' lives, people having lives.  Randompixel distributes disposable cameras, gets people to take a few snaps and pass the cameras on.  When they're returned, the pictures are posted.  They have pictures from "Emily" posted now.  They're promising a new camera every Tuesday.

A home for the future.  It would make George Jetson proud.  See the Loftcube!
