The topic of this week's Photo Scavenger Hunt is Beautiful. I took a few photos of some beautiful flowers.

And this one:

Lest you think I have a green thumb - let me tell you, I didn't grow any of these flowers! I have a black thumb and kill everything I grow. These are NOT from my garden!
These flowers are from a garden cultivated by the horticulture department of the college where I live. They grow and maintain the flowers. They even experiment and breed their own. I wish they would give me some tips so I wouldn't have such a black thumb!
Hope you enjoyed the pics!
Until next Hunt, take care, Krissy

Krissy,
These are indeed very beautiful. You may have a black thumb, but there is nothing wrong with your index finger! LOL! Great shots. ~Deborah -
Oh I love the last one of the red flowers the best!!
Have a great week!

I cannot grow anything. My hubby is the one with the green thumb. In fact he asks me to leave things alone because I tend to kill them (not on purpose) Anyway, I still enjoy the flowers and other thing he grows. :)
Thanks so much for the hints about photography. Yes, I have a book with my camera, but I still think that I need pointers to understand most of it. I have never taken a class (it is on my list of things to do...but it is not in the cards for me at this time...but SOON I hope.) If I take a class I think things will start clicking a little better. Everyone has a different learning style and I think that mine is to have someone show me and do it with me. I have a hard time just reading about something and knowing how to do it. Guess that means I am an audio learner.... I don't know. Anyway, any tips you can pass along are appreciated.
My favorite of these photos are the red poppies. I love the angle you shot them.
